28th Annual Bernice Adams Memorial Awards

On Friday May 28, Cambridge will honour some of our Arts Community's finest at the 28th annual Bernice Adams Memorial Awards.

Sixteen finalists make for a dynamic mix of talent in five categories: Visual Arts, Performing
Arts, Communications/Literary Arts, Music, and Outstanding Youth. Congratulations to Jane Hook, Randy Butcher, Robin Bennett, Allen Saulnier, Scot Ferguson-Barber, Dave Menary, Deborah Carbone, Bonnie Casey, Cambridge Concert Band, Heavy Lights, Allison Lupton, Heather Matthews, Lacey Norris, Noah Schuster, Sean Thijssen, and Tiela Warris for being
finalists in the competition.

As well. Marilyn Scott will be awarded this year's ‘Special Trustees Award’ which is presented to an individual or group who made a valuable contribution in two or more categories, and is heavily weighted in volunteer work where many benefit from their talent.

The event runs on Friday May 28, 2010 at 6:30 pm at the Galt Country Club, 750 Coronation Blvd, Cambridge. Tickets are just $25 and include light refreshments, entertainment and a fundraising silent auction. All proceeds help to support the Bernice Adams Memorial Awards Trust Fund.
